 The Three Valleys Steam Railway is a 14 km long Belgian standard gauge tourist railway, created in 1973, which operates in the Walloon Region , notably the Mariembourg - Treignes section of line 132 ( Charleroi to Vireux-Molhain , in France ). It has a significant collection of historic railway rolling stock from several countries, and organizes an annual steam festival that is popular with many enthusiasts.

Thanks to its reed bed and its 80 hectare lake, the Aquascope Virelles is the center par excellence for the discovery of all the splendors that nature has to offer. Whether you are a novice, a naturalist or whether you come with your family or a group, the pond will make you discover its thousand and one riches. The Aquascope Virelles mission is to combine tourism, education and environmental protection. This is to keep the tourist use of the site but to reduce its impact on the environment and put it to the benefit of awareness.

 Located at the entrance of the village of Treignes, Espace Arthur Masson has rehabilitated the 3 old schools of the village. One houses an audioguided audioguided show that traces life in the Ardennes from the 30s to the 60s through 11 stages. In another, you can admire the reconstruction of a class of 1932 and revive an old-fashioned class. In the latter, you can enjoy a good local dish and enjoy a good "Toine", a local beer and take home products.

Located in the Castle Farm of Treignes, impressive building dating back to its oldest part to sixteenth century, the Ecomuseum of the Viroin offers to its visitors and users to (re) discover the rural heritage of the Entre-Sambre and Meuse region and, through this, the past of our society and its changes from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. The museum is an illustration of the technological know-how of village communities, but also a mirror of cultural and social changes that have passed throught the region of Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse for two centuries. Through scientific research, the valorization of a vast collection (tools, furniture, agricultural machinery, posters ...), events, educational animations, it is a whole knowledge and a whole history which are transmitted and share. Anchored in its time, the Ecomuseum of the Viroin also works to enhance current thinking on rurality and the notion of ecological transition .

Brûly-de-Pesche "BETWEEN OCCUPATION AND RESISTANCE" The BRULY-DE-PESCHE 1940 memorial and historic site seduces with the modesty and authenticity of its buildings. The evacuation of 28 villages allows the creation of a forbidden zone and the requisition of the buildings of the village square. At the end of May 40, the Occupant was active in the construction of a Grand Headquarters. On June 6, A. Hitler moved there in preparation for the second phase of the Battle of France. Under a thick vegetal cover, the RAVIN DU LOUP , den of the Führer accommodates chalets, bunker and park. As for the surrounding woods, they were the scene of intense activities carried out by the Resistance. Immerse yourself in a historic atmosphere by visiting this memorial site built around requisitioned period buildings and the "Ravine du Loup". Didactic panels, a recent scenography with interactive material will enhance your visit and stimulate your thinking. A short film also offers various testimonies or documents relating to the Nazi ideology, its devastating consequences and the engagement of an active Resistance. The layout of the Kasino, with its sound effects, coded messages, posters, maps, themed display cases and collections will enrich your visit. C'est la raison pour laquelle notre Office du Tourisme dispose de deux ouvriers chargés de l'entretien du balisage et de la propreté de nos sentiers. Depuis bientôt 5 ans, notre Office du Tourisme est également labellisé « Bienvenue Vélo « . Ceci implique notamment la mise à disposition d'un parking vélo, d'une fontaine à eau, d'une pharmacie et d'un kit de réparation. Pour nos cyclistes malchanceux, ce dernier est disponible dans nos locaux. Toutes nos équipes se tiennent à votre disposition et se feront un plaisir de vous accueillir ou de vous renseigner !
