Our typical and exceptionally charming house

Our house, "Aux Gaietés de la Sabotière," is located 10 minutes from Chimay, in the municipality of Momignies, specifically in Seloignes. It comprises two guest rooms. Situated on the edge of the woods, you will be immersed in the natural beauty of the Chimay region, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful stay.

The first part of the house (lower part) was built before 1850 and has continued to provide well-being ever since, as it once housed an old clog maker's workshop.

Completely restored by local craftsmen and with respect for the region's heritage, our guest house impresses not only with its space, but above all with its original charm, tasteful antique furniture and decoration.
Thanks to the large windows, the rooms are flooded with light and pleasantly temperatureed in all seasons.

We offer 2 large guest rooms with large double beds, a dining room and a magnificent shaded terrace thanks to a pergola covered with wisteria and vines.

A delicious local breakfast with fresh bread, croissants and rolls from our baker, fruit, local cheeses, cold cuts from our butcher and much more awaits you every morning!

We are committed to welcoming you to our home and making you feel right at home, and to helping you discover all the treasures of the beautiful region where we live. For those with a taste for fine food, we also offer a set menu in the evenings (see the "Set Menu" tab).
